Main Courses Provided

01.

Introduction to Supportive Handling (1 day)

Theory only course aimed at settings and people that work with very low risk behaviours, parents, social workers, and domiciliary care workers. This course covers the use of PBS, legal guidance & Winning Ways Approach to dealing with behaviours of concern.

02.

Supportive Handling in Care & Education (4 day)

Aimed at settings that require the use of Physical Supportive Handling skills i.e., specialist schools, adult, and elderly care units, health care settings. This training covers the PBS theory & legal guidance along with organisation specific Supportive Handling & Personal Safety strategies.

03.

High Risk Additional Units (4hr units)

Additional units for settings that have a specific risk I.e. MHU’s, HM Prisons & Young offenders centres, PRU’s & Adult services that display extreme challenging behaviour.

04.

Bespoke courses
